“BOXES FOR TROOPS”
This year “BOXES FOR TROOPS” effort was a huge success.
Roger & Margie Koehler would like to THANK everyone for all the help.
We are planning on packing some “BOXES FOR TROOPS”
at the Legion on Tuesday Aug. 22nd. at 3:00 pm.
We are hoping to pack at least 100 boxes, so the more HELP the better.

More items are always appreciated. Items in need are, Medicated Powder,
Chap Sticks, 72 inch Tan Boot Laces, and any Snack items.
“AMERICAN LEGION RIDERS”
There’s an effort to form an “AMERICAN LEGION RIDER” chapter
here at Post 89.
There will be an information sharing meeting on
Tuesday, August 22nd at 6:00 pm.
Any member of the Legion, Auxiliary, or SAL’s that is a legal motorcycle
rider and spouse of such rider is invited to attend.
This is NOT a motorcycle GANG, but an
Extension of the American Legion family,
and another avenue to share the Legion Family experience.
